Althaïr Exclusif

“I wanted to create a perfume composed like a concerto, an expansive scent with noble materials but also a quieter, more refined virtuosity.” - Julien Sprecher, Founder and Creative Director of Parfums de Marly

The Concept

Althaïr Exclusif is inspired by the music of the 18th century. At the Château de Marly — where King Louis XIV hosted grand celebrations for his intimate friends — the music for these gatherings tended to be intimate, private performances. This new formulation of the iconic Althaïr speaks to that with warm, captivating notes meant to draw people closer to the wearer.

The Scent

Saffron and Amaretto

These two notes combined add a warm spiciest that truly makes this new interpretation of Althaïr different from the original. The juxtaposition of the warm and spicy notes grabs ones attention and makes this fragrance attention-grabbing and distinguished.

Orange Blossom

it wouldn’t be a Parfums de Marly fragrance without orange blossom. This delicate flower adds a slight brightness and gives the scent a modern edge.

Vanilla

Much like orange blossom, vanilla is a staple for the brand. The Bourbon Vanilla present in this fragrance makes it a perfect addition to the collection for this season because it grounds it, adding depth, warmth and sensuality.
